What is SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST

An SAT is typically a series of tests that range from verifying that all the valve has arrived in good operating condition as specified in the purchase order. One of the purposes of the SAT, after a successful FAT, is to provide documented evidence that a piece of equipment been delivered to the end-user site has not been affected by the transportation or installation.

SAT procedure will also verify in detail about the order, material received has been supplied by checking what has been received against the original purchase order. The SAT should not only visually check, test the functionality, and performance of the system, but should also check the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of the documentation.

How to Conduct SITE Acceptance Testing?

There are several components that make up SAT. The product must be assembled, prepared, and connected to utilities for testing. Documentation such as drawings, ASME certificates, and test procedures must be gathered. And finally, testing must be conducted in the factory that follows specific test procedures.

Before the SAT begins, the We will present the SAT procedure to the client for review and approval. The procedure should include testing of as much functionality as is practical in the factory and, where possible, should show pass/fail criteria or desired results for each item tested. Once the procedure is approved, We will test the equipment (Pre-Test) before the SAT begins.
